A Frog's Blessing in this Wonderful Galaxy: Chapter 7 Part 2
Added 2024-07-03 17:26:24 +0000 UTCWhat's a Prince to a Frog?
Leading a revolution was far harder than Kermit had ever anticipated. He once thought it would simply be a matter of winning the war but as it turns out, it was only half the battle. Turns out, he also had to keep the various strong personalities from tearing each other apart as was the case with the two on his shoulder.
"Pizda!" Jaghatai shouted in anger as the man grabbed the Dhrukari by the scruff of her neck and threw her against his neck, "Why in the Emperors good name did you turned it off! I swear if it wasn't for Kermit I would have thrown you off his shoulder!"
"Oh come on, I was just trying to be friendly here!" his wayward Dhrukari assistant shouted back as he felt her land on his neck before she slid back down. Considering her blood thirsty nature, he should have honestly seen this coming after he recruited her, ,"And how would I've known that was going to turn that off!"
Kermit could feel his headache growing as the two got into a heated shouting match. All it took was one incident and the two of them were already at each other's throat. Not even Malys or Red could bring some sense to the two. He needed to step in or he'll have a fight on his hands, literally.
As he turned around and reach up to them to break up the brewing fight, he saw a flash at the edge of his vision. Small, barely a pin prick of light, Kermit thought nothing more of it; After all, there was a thousand other flashes exploding all around him as the battle raged out, However to his horror, the flash grew larger and brighter till it was all he'd see.
"Hey-!" What ever it was that Red was going to say was soon drowned out as the raging force of a thousand sun came barreling down on him. It slammed into him, driving out the air in his lungs and rattling his very bones. His very sense overwhelmed as raging fire and the deafening roar of an explosion became his world.
Not even shielding his eyes could protect him from the all encompassing force that washed over him like the waves of a raging tide. He staggered backwards, forced back as it seemed the very world itself was burning until it stopped. He stood there shaking, his skin smoking, his ears ringing and his eyes filled with dancing spots as he staggered around.
What just hit him? He could barely think right now as the world spun around him. Was he hit? Did something exploded? It all happened so fast, he could barely even process what just happened. Why was the ground coming up to meet him?
"Oh fuck," He shouted as he fell down on all fours but everything sound so muted and there was that annoying ringing, "Guys?" He called out as worry filled his chest. He… he was ok, at least that was what he felt like but what about his friends.
"Jaghatai? Malys? Lilith?" He called out as the ringing started to subside and the world slowly came back to focus. Pulling himself up, he looked around in horror as he stood there in the middle of a ruins while dust and rubble rained around him. He knew he was getting into a war when he agreed to Lady Maly's plan but not like this, this was too much, "R-Red?"
"No! No! No!" Without a minute to waste, he looked around, trying to find a trace of them through the wreck. All around him stood the husk of buildings as tall as he was, their windows shattered and their sharp peaks toppled over. Roads cracks, bridges fallen, monuments to old forgotten rulers toppled over, nothing was safe.
"Damn it all, it can't end like this!" He shouted as he reached beneath a broken tower and lifted it up with surprising ease. Not even the ships floating above were spared as some fell down to the ground while the great bone white city that was a Craftworld floated on, marred by the explosion while the shadow of a towering mushroom cloud bloomed in the background.
Yet for all the horrors he saw, it wasn't the devastation that made his stomach turn. No, what made him want to empty his stomach there and then was the light floating up and gathering around around him. He felt his stomach drop as he saw them, these bright jewel like stars in the millions. Slowly, he brought down the tower and reaching out to the light with with shaky hands.
As he held this star, this soul still burning after just being snuffed from their mortal coil, he fell to his knees. All this time he though they were nothing more than tiny creatures but in truth, they were so much more. Why were they drawn to him? What did being an old one have to do with this! Putting his concerns aside, he turned back to find his friends.
"Vect!," He cursed out as he grabbed as many as he tore through the rubble in search of his friends, still hoping despite this lingering fear, this horrid feeling that his friends might have already joined the ranks of these souls, "I swear once I get my hands on you Vect, I'll tan your hide red!" he swore to the heavens before turning back to the ruble.
"Come on, you're made of sterner stuff!" Despite his fears, he had a feeling that they were still alive somewhere. None of the souls he could see had the same bright aura as his friends. Then there was the matter of Red missing, "A little explosion couldn't kill a soul right?"
He had heard tales from Jaghatai that Red was a powerful magician of sorts. Could he have pulled something off? He hoped, he so dearly hoped, that his anxious thoughts were wrong, that they were alive, "Please, please don't die."
Just as he was to reach for another building, another explosion rang out across the city, "Oh come on! What now!" He shouted in frustration as he turned towards the gate as it cracked open. Gigantic pieces the size of buildings came crashing down, destroying what little remains of the stadium that surrounded the gate as a yawning portal opened before them all.
Even obscured by smoke, it shone so brightly that it bathed the city in its light. Tinged purple in color, it swirlied in maddening patterns drawing him in as the siren's song rang out from deep within. All thoughts of revenge soon melting away into panic as a bright wave came rushing out and barreled straight at him, cutting all that stood in its way.
With barely a second to spare, he dove for cover and he avoided it by mere inches as it cleaved through buildings, rodes and even the ships above. Fire and rubble rained down as from the portal came the silhouette of a giant being illuminated by the light, casting its gigantic shadow upon the ruined city.
"Ohhh… oh that does not look good" He whispered as he got up and stared at the giant serpentine shape at slithered out front he depths, towering even above him. For once, Kermit was the one looking up as glowing purple eyes opened from the shadow and stared down right at him. Swallowing thickly, he found himself taking a step back as the being slithered out from the thick acrid smog, revealing the form of a woman whose lower half was that of a snake.
Kermit's jaw drop as found himself gazing up to the beauty that stood before him. With her silken locks, her alluring smile, and her shapely form, he couldn't help but have his gaze drawn to her. Not even her multiple arms, her flickering tongue, her crown of horns and her wickedly sharp claws could detract from beauty, in fact, they only made her all the more exotic.
Clad in the finest of silks, yet armed with finely crafted silver swords, she stood there like a goddess of love and war ready for battle, "Beautiful," He whispered but it seems that his appreciation wouldn't be returned as their triumphant smile twisted to that of anger and disgust.
"You!" The woman hissed out in angered as she bristled at her presence. With her teeth barred, she leveled one of her many blades as he tail coiled, her form all but ready to explode into motion at but at a moments notice. Like a viper honed in on their prey, they stood their ready to give the first strike. Unfortunately for Kermit, it seems that he was the prey.
Taken aback by the venom in her words, he pointed at himself as he asked, "M-me?" Wracking his mind, he tried to remember but he would find nothing. Why was she so angry at him right now? He asked himself as he looked around, trying to see if there was anyone else but there was only one, himself, standing before her.
Slithering towards him, knocking out buildings and the wreck of ships alike, she screamed at him, "Do you think you could get away after what you did!" her beautiful voice tinged by the hate she bore for him, "After all humiliation you put me through?" All matter of grace abandoned as her voice rose in volume.
"What did I do!?" He asked, bewildered at the woman's accusation, "Look lady, I don't know what you're talking about it! I don't think we even met before!" He then shouted as he took another step back and looked around, trying to find a path out of where he was but to no avail.
He was in the main road leading to the heart of Commorragh. From here, it was a simple path ahead with small buildings to block his path. There was any if little paths for him to take to lose her off in case he makes a run for it. Things weren't looking good.
Turning back, he found the woman rising to her full height as she hissed out, "You don't remember?" Her fist clenched, her sharp teeth barred at him as she gritted out, "After all that you put me through, all the humiliation you have me suffer! My castle ruined, my beloved toys broken and even my price sword, gone and you don't even remember?!"
At her words, memories quickly rushed in, of the time when he crashed into a castle where a tiny child ruined his day. Looking up to them, he finally saw the resemblance. Even with her exotic features, they looked so similar. The same eyes, the same hair, and even almost the same face if just far more mature, "Ohhh, oh fuck."
Letting a toothy grin stretch across her face, the woman leaned down closer as she brandished her sword, "So you do remember. Good~" She purred out as she lifted up a blade and ran her tongue along it's length. He really pissed her off huh.
Seeing few options for him moving forward, he did the one thing he knew well, begging, "I'm so sorry, please don't kill me!" Getting down on his knees, he crawled up to her as she reared back, probably surprised by his sincerity. Pressing on, he clutched on to her robe as he added, "I really didn't mean it, I promise!"
"W-what?" She asked haltingly, confusion writ across her face. Was he not being sincere enough for her? He might need to amp up the begging.
Letting go, he got up top to one knee as he continued, "Ma'am, I know this might not mean much but I'm truly sorry about destroying your daughter's castle, I truly am," And he wasn't even lying. In the end, it was all a bloody accident, "If it means anything, once I got back on my feet, I'll make sure to pay you back," He then told her as he laid his right hand across his chest and raised his other hand, "It's a promise or well, a froggy promise but still a promise!"
"That's… nice of you?" The serpentine woman replied as she lowered her swords, "But what's this about my daughter…?" She then asked, sounding a bit lost.
"Yeah?" Kermit replied as he looked back at her in equal parts confusion as well, "Isn't she yours? She's a bit tiny, about this yea tall," He told her, placing his hand right about where the girl stood compared to himself, "And she's just as bit every bit beautiful as you though she might be a bit of a hellion…" He then continued only to trail off as the women froze up.
"Um ma'am?" He called out only to rear back as anger twisted her expression once more. Before he could even reply as to pacify her, she cut him off.
"... You thieving bastard," The woman hissed out as she reared up to her full height, her sword once more ready to strike, "Not only did you try playing with my heart but you're calling me a hag as well?!" She accused him as she screamed out, "I am not old! I'm only a few thousand years old!"
"W-wait what?" he shouted back in disbelief. Waving his hands at her, he assured her, "That's not what I said!" Yet it would fall to deaf ears as she let out a piercing cry of anger. Screaming, he fell to his knees at the horrible grating sound jammed its way into his ears.
"I will have you head!" She howled out as she sprung forward, swords flashing as she swung at him with deadly intent.
Screaming out, he throw himself back, narrowly dodging the her as she slammed into the building beside her. "Fuck fuck fuck!" Gathering as many of the half forgotten souls scattered about, he pulled them in himself before making a run for it. As he scrambled to his feet and bolted off, the giant snake lady gave chase.
Bursting out from the broken remains of the building, she let out a scream of rage as she slithered right after him. Despite her massive size, she was would prove to be be terrifying fast as he kept up to him. Pumping his gangly legs, he hopped and ran to no avail.
"Did you think your compliments and charm could sway me?" She shouted as he slid underneath the toppled remains of a tower only for her to burst through, ignoring the obstacle before her, "That your pitiful attempts to win me over will lessen the punishment you will receive!"
"That's all on you!" He shouted as he jumped straight inside a broken building before punching his way to the walls and bursting out the other side. He needed to get off the main road stat! He tore through building after building as fast as his tiny fist could take him but the woman wasn't too far behind.
"I will tear you apart!" He heard her scream as her sword cleaved through the tower just behind him, her blades lashing out in deadly arcs, "I will rend you limb from limb before flaying you alive!" She promised him and he wasn't too keen to finding out if she'd pull of the threat. He was tough but he really didn't want to test how tough he was to a determined woman he just scorned!
"Your skin shall serve as my cloths while your head shall be mounted on my castle's walls!" She raged on. Taking advantage of his smaller size, he slipped between buildings and through the narrow passageways but Slaanesh would simply plow through.
With her massive glaive, she cleaved through solid rock and steel as if they were made of nothing more than wet toilet paper. Still, it was slowing her down. Every building, every road and every bridge she had to slice was distance but between them. Things were looking good, until fire started raining down on his head.
Baleful pink fire, jagged arcs of lightning and blades flew overhead as he ducked and weaved through the winding and escher-esque streets. For once, his weird proportions and gangly limbs were helping him squeeze through narrower and tighter paths but that wasn't all to helpful when stone stared catching fire.
"Oh come on!" he screamed out as sweat poured down his form, "This is so unfair!" This was going nowhere. Every meter he had worked up between them was quickly eaten up as he stumbled and crashed against the very same buildings that slowed her down. Every blocked path he had to run around, every pile of rubble he had to jump over and every topped building he had to go through tor another brought him close and closer until his lack ran out; he tripped.
He felt his snag upon a pole as his body lurched, his body laid prone down on the ground.
Fear filled his veins as he turned around to find her sharp blade arcing down to his side, his hands reaching out in an attempt to stop it. He thought was through as he felt his palm clash against the edge, that this time it'll be different but then the blade warped, bending before shattered into thousands of tiny shards.
He blinked, jaws wide open as he watched the shards rain down down around him. Even the woman had that same look of disbelief yet his relief would be all but momentary as the building sized tail of the woman slammed into him, launching him across the city.
He skipped along stone, bouncing and screaming as the wind whipped around him. With his inside a mess, he skipped along a rough stretch of road before rolling to a stop. Laying there, Kermit struggled between the choice of standing up and getting away or trying to keep his lunch in and he liked the former as much as the latter.
Looking ahead, he found a collapsed building with just enough space for him to crawl in. Dragging his large form in, he squeezed himself through the tight space in his vein attempt to hide. "Oh, already done running~? Come on, why don't you come out of that tiny den of yours so we can continue our chase~!" The woman taunted as Kermit curled up, hoping that the woman didn't see him.
Staying as still as he could, he sat there, his heart pounding inside his chest. "Come on Kermit, why are you like this?" He told himself, "You could fight damn it!" He scolded himself yet his shaking hands told him otherwise. He was terrified.
Shaking his head, he then whispered, "She's far bigger though," Did he really want to fight? The only reason he fought Vect and his army was because he was bigger. Now that he was facing someone that matched his size, he wasn't all too sure now.
Looking up, he found a hole up to the sky where the battle raged. Purple Ships not unlink the ones that Jaghatai fought for dominance in the sky, spewing purple fire. Horrid screeches echoed across the city as he felt them all around. "T-that does not look good," He whispered before jumping back in surprise as an eye down back at him.
"Found you~!" The woman sang as she pulled away before purple light flooded through the hole. He scrambled back, cursing as he tried to get out but it was easier said than done in the tight confine. The place was far too packed for him to simply punch through, "It was a good run but it's time for me to get serious~ Stay still or else this will get messy!"
Digging through the rubble, he cursed out his luck. Pushing himself, he dug in deep only for the rubble to give way to a black yawning hole, "Fuck!" He cursed out as he stumbled in and face planted hard against a hard surface. Groaning, he thought he fucked up; that was until he opened his eyes.
As he laid there, he found himself suspended high above and staring down upon the woman as she burnt away at the rubble. Screaming, he forced himself up only to realize he was in some small tunnel above the city and all. "What the?" he whispered he knelt down and tapped at the tunnels; It certainly felt like the webway. Looking up, the hole that got him here was already closed.
Realizing he was safe, he then sat down, watching the woman as she melted away the rubble with her flames. He could have probably survived that but did he really want to find out? Slowly, the womans laughter trailed off as she realized he wasn't there any more.
"Wait, how! He should be right here! How could he-!" The women screeched out as rifled through molten lava. Searching frantically, she then froze as she started shaking. Rearing back and cursing at the sky, she screamed with unbridled fury, "Cegorach!"
Dusting himself off, he slowly picked himself. Now, he had some breathing room, all he had to do was find a way to get that woman out of the city as well find his friends… though maybe finding a way down would be a better option. "Whoever this Cegorach, I need to thank him," Kermit whispered as he wondered where he'll go.
It seems like he wasn't alone as he thought he was as a voice called out beside him, "That would be me," Slowly, Kermit turned around before freezing as he stared right into the cold black eyes of a pale faced being. Leaning closer, Kermit felt the hairs on the back of his neck stood up as they laughed.
While smaller, standing no more up to his knee, the clown had an imposing air around. It was almost as if he was the one that was supposed to look up to them. With their colorful clothes, the bells and various trinkets sewed to their dress and jester like hat, he looked rather silly yet not even that could detract from their disconcerting smile, their pale almost sickly pallor and thin, almost emaciated figure.
"Ohoho~ No need to thank me, I was just helping you out," The clown rasped out, chuckling animatedly as he let out a toothy and unnaturally wide grin, "Seems like you were in quite the pickle! Good thing old Cegorach was around, hmm~?" He then asked as he tilted his head at him till their neck let out a horrid crack.
Taking in a deep breath, Kermit shouted in terror he scrambled backwards, trying to put as much distance as he could between the two of them, "Ahhhh! Clown!" He screamed, raising his hands up to defend himself. He already had a nuke blow up on his face and a lamia chasing him earlier. Now he had to face this? Why did it have to be clowns!
The clowns smile fell as their shoulders sagged. Taking in a deep breath, they then screamed back at it, "Ahhhh! A Frog!" rearing back and shrieking in mock terror, "Oh somebody please help me from this slimy creatures!" they then added as they looked at him with barely hidden disgust
All thoughts of fear were quickly replaced with indignation. "Hey!" He, not liking the tone levied at him. Sure he was a frog, slime and all, but did he really have to look up to him like that? "That's really mean!"
The clown would only gave him a flat look as they crossed their arms, "Well, you started it!" The tiny being fired back. Holding up a finger, Kermit paused as he considered his words before slowly putting it back down, flustered at the rebuke, "Doesn't feel good, does it?" The clown asked before they shocked their head and reached out towards them.
"Do you think your tricks can hide you from me!" He then heard the woman scream, breathing fire and slashing around, tearing apart the city with each swing. He felt a little weak kneed even watching from a distance, "I can still smell him, I can still feel his presence!"
"Well, come on. Up you go. We still have a long way too go," The clown then told him as urged him to grab on, "My old bones already hurt enough having ran all the way here. Don't make it any harder for the both of us."
At a lost of what to do, he could only stared at the offered hand, "W-what?" He stuttered out in confusion but what choice does he have? Reaching out he, grabbed the offered hand and he quickly found himself getting dragged along.
As he stumbled along he the asked, "Wait, where the hell are we? Who are you!" He was terrified of him yet he felt like he could trust him. Still, he did not like that air around him, this almost acrid chemical scent that made his nose hair curl, "And where are my friends!" And why was this man helping him at all, if even that was even what he wanted.
"The Webway of course, or rather the service tunnels to it," The man replied as he gestured at the tunnels round them, "A bit tighter than the usual put it'll get you just about anywhere!" He then explained before pausing as he peered down at the carnage below, "Plus, you can spy on all the people from way up here"
Looking down, Kermit found pandemonium. While the revolution was bloody enough, the woman's presence took it a whole new level. Daemonic creatures poured out from the opened gate while the fleet fought on. Battle raged as titanic beings waded out, waging war upon the city that he wanted to free, "Find him! Find the miserable hole Cegorach and that frog hid in!" The woman commanded.
"As for who I am? It's not really important but if you have to know," The clown trailed off as he started walking away, "My name is Cegorach, the laughing God, the one who got away, Blah blah blah." They introduced themselves as if they were almost annoyed about it, "Those titles really don't mean much when I'm just here to tell some silly little jokes!"
"A God?" He knew he was in some place strange but a god? He wasn't sure why but he felt far more inclined to believe him than other wise, "Hey wait up!" he then shouted as the being kept on walking.
"Not a capital G, just a small g," Cegorach corrected him before he muttered "On that these people used to pray to before they go busy pleasure themselves," Shrugging, the man then laughed, "Eh, no matter! I still have my troupe!"
Clapping his hands and snapping him out of his thoughts, the man then said, "Now! Your friends yes?" As unstable as the man was, he might help. Nodding, the man turned and reaching into to walls of the webway, digging into it and molding a mirror which showed scenes from the city.
"Let's see where they are shall we?" Flicking too it as if he's reading a book, scene after scene played. Horrors after horrors, men, woman and children alike were shown at the mercy of daemonic beings yet a twitch or even a grimace from the self proclaimed god, "No, not there, ahhh, there we go!"
"Jaghatai?" He whispered as he finally saw them once more. There in the middle of a hoard was the Primarch with his back against Lilith and Malys. With Red throwing lightning and fire all around, they fend them off but it was a losing battle. The trio didn't came out unscathed from the blast, sporting burns and bruises, while Red looked far dimmer than he'd ever seen him before.
"Guys! Hang on" He called out before turning to the man, "Help me open a portal to them now! Do you magic thing earlier!" He told the man. If he could show him this then he could make a portal there. Kermit had made one by accident so surely this god could make one.
"Cegorach you coward!" The woman raged as she lifted up her blade and slammed it down on the ground and nearly knocking him his feets as the very webway itself buckled and shocked, "Give him back!"
Holding on to the wall, what little hope he had would be dashed as his plea would fall to deaf ears, "You certainly pissed her off~" The man chuckled before looking out to the tunnels ahead, "But as funny as it would be record her for my future plays, there are far more pressing matters on our hands like I don't know? Like maybe running the hell away?" He then said as he continued walking.
"Wait, what? I'm not leaving without my friends" He shouted back at the man as he grabbed on to his robe, "We have to go back!" He insisted. They were right there. If they were going to run, he should at least help him run with his friend right. Hell, he could probably help him with the city. He was a god after all.
"Hmmm, let me think about it," The clown replied with a hum, rubbing his chin before shaking his head wildly, "No, a thousand times noooo!"
He stood there gobsmacked at the mans reply. "If I can't have him, then I'll just have to kill every last soul in this city!" He then heard, making him pale. His friends were in danger, he needed to get them out now!
"Why!" He shouted at the man as anger bubbled up his chest, "You already helped me so why not not them?!" He asked, his heart dropping as Lilith took a nasty hit. Crumpling the ground, she only had Red for cover as Jaghatai struggled against a giant of a foe.
"Oh?" He then heard the woman laugh, his heart hammering away at the change of her tone, "Is that who I think it is?" The woman then whispered as she turned towards the tower, "Isha~" Kermit felt his heart stop at her words. Did she have something against the woman he saved?
"Oh you devious little frog, I might just have to take you for giving me quite the feast!" She then laughed as she slithered towards the tower, ignoring the barrage thrown her way. Not even hits from a ship seemed to slow her down, "And here I thought I'd have to settle for a paltry meal!"
"Damn it all! Aren't you the God of Laughter? Aren't you their god? Why can't you help me?" He then shouted as he turned. He knew the man might hold a grudge but why can't he just help him, "Why can't you just send me back?" he asked him as he sat there, unable to do anything but watch in horror.
At his question, the clowns smile fell as he answered, "Because little Kermit, sending back would be so much more worse than her simply eating everyone in this city," Looking back at him in horror, the man continued, speaking as if he was merely talking about the weather, "Compared to having you eaten, having Isha and the rest of this city eaten would be a far less catastrophic,"
Leaning in close to him, he then todd him,"Now even if I send you back, what then? You've ran every single time Kermit, you ran when you got here, you ran even when you saved Isha and you ran after you faced just a single paltry Daemon God," Kermit wanted to shout back, to scream at him yet he was right. The woman didn't hurt him once yet he ran all the same.
"You ran when you could have stood your ground. You didn't even put up a fight so why risk it when you'd flee? Why risk having her get swallowed up when we could just go away now. Run away like we always do," Cegorach told him as he looked back at him dispassionately, "So tell me Kermit, why should we go back? Wouldn't you just run away when things turn sour?"
Sitting there, he felt shame inside his heart as he found himself unable to answer. Giving him a pat on the head, he then beckoned him to follow him once more, "Now come along," He told him before flashing him a cheerful smile, "I know a place where both us can hide. It has books, movies and series you've missed after Thirty thousand millennium!"
He could run, he was sorely tempted to do so. He had ran from his job, he ran from everything, he even ran from the reality that he was facing. He threated everything as joke when he could have threated it more seriously. He can't keep running, not anymore.
"No," He whispered as he stood up and stared down at the floor. Kneeling down, he tapped his fist against it. It looked thick but it felt as soft as the webway he had been carving this past week. He also didn't have to double guess where he was going to land as he had a clear path down.
"Hmmm?" The man replied as he turned towards him just in time for them to watch his fist crash down on the floor below, "Wait, what are you doing!" He heard the god shout but Kermit found himself far too busy to care he punch the ground even as his knuckles started to hurt.
"If you're not going to help me!" He shouted as he raised his fist, "Then I have make a way back down there!" he shouted be slamming it down hard on the ground rewarding with a webs of crack spreading from his fist. Just as he thought, the webway was just as soft for him as it was for his pick; the tool only helped him along.
The weeks he spent digging the tunnel only weren't for nothing as his limbs felt strong than ever before. Only the thought of saving his friends fueling him on yet the webway remain stubbornly tough. Digging in deep, he threw everything he had and some more as the star he had saved gathered around his fist, making it glow as he struck harder.
With renewed vigor, he punch harder as he felt them pushing him on, the souls of everyone who he had unknowingly helped. "Stop! You're breaching through the layers!" Cegorach warned him, "Do you know how long it takes for me to fix those!" He then shouted as he tore at the tassels of his jesters hat.
"Then good thing you're here!" He shouted as he threw one last punch and the floor finally cracked open. He fell down, the wind whipping around him as he soared down towards the giant as she stood there, curled up around the tower with the fairy at hand. The woman had grown the last time he saw her and far healthier but now she was in the serpentine goddess's hands.
He had no plan, not even a landing strategy but Kermit didn't care. He was tired of running away. Besides, he had one thing that this daemon goddess probably didn't have, "Hey Asshole!" He shouted, catching the woman attention just as he was about to bite down on the fairy lady, "Pick on someone your own size!" She shouted as he swung the fist that pierced the heavens themselves.
All across the galaxy, people felt it. From the tomb worlds to the throne world itself, all would gaze to the sky in wonder for a new star was born and it was colored green.
A/N:
Finally, after what felt like a week of slamming my head against the wall, it's over. I finally got this out and I'm free. I'm sorry it took so long but I hope the wait's worth it. So many plans got derailed, from me trying to squeeze in a Profiteering chapter to doing the winner of the polls afterwards.
Anyways, I'll be sleeping now. Polls will be tomorrow because it's already late here. Also, I'll be working on June's second winner which I should have made a chapter for, Warboss. Yes, Warboss is coming back and I hope you guys are excited cause I sure am.
