IMPORTANT -2020 TIER & REWARD CHANGES

Hey everyone! Just wanted to thank you all for such a wonderful first year on Patreon! Throughout the year I have met some very lovely folk and hope to keep providing you guys with fun content! I just want to thank you all for all the great times we've had during stream or group events!

As this year was my first time doing freelancing full time I have learnt a lot about time management, work load, manufacturing of products and so much more and I hope to make some improvements to make 2020 even better! I will be changing the current dynamic of the Patreon with the many 'one time rewards' removed to allow a more opportunity for commission slots and positions for patrons.  

Patreon's system is not optimized for one time rewards as no matter the slot limit, anyone is able to leave/join a tier making the art reward queue never ending, which has lead to an extremely large backlog queue of rewards. By offering Patreon exclusive commission slots as an alternative I can manage the amount of work that is taken on at all times. This will result in a cheaper tier & access directly to the reward you wanted to receive instead of waiting for a tier slot to open! You will also save money if there is only a particular reward you wish to access!

I will be downsizing the amount of extra rewards and streams at least for a time being until I have more free availability. With the new website underway and current art queue I am currently working 6 day weeks. This is not sustainable for me long term and have been very close to burn out. I will be using this quieter period to continue working and completing all current projects.

Stream VC days will be moved down to 1 day with a possible day alternation (Will host a poll for best day availability). With the decrease in VC Streams I will be trying to text chat more to make up for this! Im hoping this works out better as time-zones have made VC lineup difficult at times!

Before any new changes are implemented I will be listening to your feedback and personally messaging all Patrons to make sure everyone is aware before implementation. If you have any suggestions for rewards, events or Tiers please make sure to leave a comment or DM!

MYO PROTOGEN FORM CHANGES

The MYO RARE Protogen form will also be receiving an overhaul. After January a new system will be in place where the form will be accessible for all patrons but a new selection process. Each month a couple of designs are chosen for approval, if selected a creation fee is sent out and once paid the RARE is then added to our official listing on the Prima / Proto site. This will allow more people access while still keeping RARE designs a unique oddity within the community. This system is still being reviewed but Im hoping to eventually separate the MYO system from Patreon in the future.

The MYO form may be unavailable temporarily between the system changes so please make sure to watch out for MYO Patreon posts for updates.

All Patrons who are currently legible for a MYO slot have until 31st of January to complete the current form and submit their RARE design. The current Gardenia Tier will no longer be available after this date so make sure to submit your design before the new Tier change is implemented. 5 final Gardenia slots will be available at the start of January, this will be last time TY Packs will be available, as well as no creation fee so please make sure to be quick if you are interested! (*Please make sure to remember if you pledge in Jan, you will need to submit your design BEFORE the start of February*). I apologize if this causes any rush but the old system will need to be removed as form applications will have new specifications and requirements.

CONCLUDING NOTES

My hopes for 2020 is to make the Patreon more affordable, less backlogs with manageable slot openings and implement more physical rewards for the future! Once again, thank you dearly for all the support this year, I have been able to grow so much as an artist and make wonderful friends, looking forward to 2020!! <3
