WYLAMG5 Rose Chapter 1

Short, just one chapter, but I'm going to be gone this weekend and I wanted to get this up. The old WYLAMG4 pdf's are gone but I do want to try hard to make this year more productive than last so wanted to get this out. It's a good taster for what's to come.

A writing note: Selena's length has been decreased from thirty to twenty feet. This is one of those changes I make after I do the math and realize at thirty feet she'd weigh somewhere in the realm of two thousand pounds ... which is way too much for even the alt-Earth equivalent of an electric six-cylinder ... and yes, I'm aware that's not a thing either. Selena's weight at original length too booku, so she's now only twenty feet long. I've already made the updates throughout the text elsewhe...

So yeah, this'll be the name of the fantasy project I'm releasing under the new name Erik Roman. (If you leave a review - and I hope you do - when it releases please do NOT reference Cebelius. I really do want to keep the initial public release divorced from the more prurient work I do.)

As for when that'll be ... I don't know yet. Probably January. Releasing a new book during the Christmas vac...

Longer chapter, but thinking of doing a book break here. As in, the first book will end here, not necessarily that I will stop updating.
I'm behind on getting a cover for this because honestly, there are a number of things about this work that are different for me and I want to use it to try some new things. That said, it does neatly conclude a character arc which is why I think the break is appropriate. I'd like your thoughts if you have any, and please be honest. Y'all have already paid ...

I suck at this. Back home, so all the rhythms are disrupted, but hopefully I'll be able to get back into the swing of things this week. Things are settling down and the house is once again mostly livable.

Working title for the series now is Sex, Death, and Money. I'll work on it, but some variation on SDM will probably wind up in the final cut.

I've tweaked quite a lot, but I don't think anything I've done will actually alter the narrative flow too much so I'm not reposting the old chapters.

Just bear in mind that what winds up in the polished product and what you see here aren't necessarily the same. That said, this has been a long time coming and I can only apologize. 7-Fold has ...

WYLAMG? Next book

There are several ways the next book can go and I am ambivalent about which direction to take it. That said, I figure I should toss it out here and get a sense for what you guys are wanting.

Shigama 7-9 (7-Fold World)

I'm doing the editing for Grace this weekend and - with luck - the cover will be done on Monday. 

Betas will be finished on Tuesday and presuming there's no serious issues, the finished work will go up on the Zon by the end of the week. Once it does, I'll be breaking the links per usual so if you're reading it here just bear that in mind.

7-Fold World is my first foray into proper fantasy and will go under a pen name when it gets published, but I see no reason not to share it...
