Otakuthon recap and news

Hello one and all! Ponno here with a recap of what happened at otakuthon, and what we’ll do in the near future.

First of all, we wanted to thank you for the incredible weekend. And personally, it was one of, if not the best weekend of my life. Made me fall in love with anime conventions again.

Your overwhelming support, love for monstergirls and enthusiasm reached our hearth and stoked our flame. We are shining even stronger than before! I cannot put into words what your comments made me feel, and our discussions brought to my mind and hearth.

The whole weekend was awesome beyond measures. Here is a non exhaustive list of highlights, in no particular order (apart from the first one):

-Meeting Fae and Ayla in real life! scarlet_cosplayer_ and liaorleah (both on instagram) cosplayed Fae and Ayla friday. This, to put it ligthly, was fucking dope! I highly recommend you give them a follow. They both are great cosplayers (and monstergirls enjoyers).

-The guys with their “Keep calm and play Wataponno games” billboard. Thank you for sharing love and wholesomeness through the convention. I have a feeling we’ll definitely meet again. (I’m not doxxing their discord name, but they did it themselves in the patreon discord if you want to know more).

-The multitude of you that I can finally put a face on their discord name. Always glad to see you in the flesh.

-The couple fans that came completely flabbergasted that we were here, unaware they’d meet us. Wataponno love in its purest form.

-The reception we got at the panels. Glad to be of help, and glader that you like the unfiltered, true info that I relay in these panels.

And so many other things! I had goals and hopes for this weekend and they were all CRUSHED! Thank you for all your love <3

Now, what’s the plan?

Wataponno is starting to get really big, and thus costly. Even if there was people at the booth almost all the time all weekend, that money is not life changing money. It won’t buy us a new dungeon in MHL or MMA, for example. It’s the just the reality of physical sales lol. But what it can do is…

MORE MERCH AND GOODIES!

That’s right, coming this autumn, we’ll be opening an official online store for our merch, and add a ton of new designs. Dakis, posters, titty mousepads, game mats, standees, to name a few. Monstergirls enjoyers rejoice!

Also coming up, Magical Hellhound Lust. This autumn will see (for patreons) the release of all 3 worlds, minibosses and bosses, as well as the story/campaign this winter.

But mostly, in great part because of this weekend, MHL will be our first game with deluxe editions: original soundtrack, exclusive collector merch, etc. We’re entering the big leagues with this.
