Sneak Peek: Puzzle Pack

Today we'd like to show you the sketches that Niels made for the puzzle pack, and which puzzles we ultimately chose to work on for the pack.
Modular Puzzles
We wanted these puzzles to be as useful and widely applicable as possible, loose pieces of gameplay that a game master can slot into whatever dungeon they are designing. To that end, we decided on two categories of puzzles:
Rooms - Spaces that lock the characters inside until the puzzle has been solved.
Doors - Doors that can only be unlocked by solving a puzzle.
Here are the sketches Niels did for a number of rooms:
While zoning in on what we wanted the pack to look like, we ended up with a selection of 5 puzzle rooms which each fit on one standard sheet of printer paper and are some variation of a rectangle in shape.

Here we decided to discard any door ideas that needed knowledge of any other doors or how other doors work, so that the game master can use them as individual puzzles as well -- not just as part of the same dungeon design.
The final puzzle pack will be delivered as a ZINE with the rules for 5 Puzzle Rooms and 10 Puzzle Doors; each puzzle room will come with a map, and each door with an illustrated card.
