Quest Pack 17: The Stars take Over!

This Quest Pack is all about orchestrating an important turning point in the Stars of the Sea campaign: The moment the player characters discover that the starry infestation plaguing Silver Spires turns people into horrific monsters! 😱
This moment is accomplished by taking an NPC that is beloved by the player characters, and turning them into such a monster. The Quest Pack includes guidance on how to choose the right NPC, and a monster maker that can help you create paper minis or digital handouts of these mutated characters.
The Quest Pack also includes an example quest: The Missing Krablads. In this quest, two fishermen go missing inside a cavern full of giant crabs. When the player characters descend into the caves to save them, they find that one of the brothers has merged with a star crab to form a horrific mutant creature!
This Quest Pack includes:
- The Stars Take Over guide, which explains how and why people are being transformed into monsters, and how to choose the right NPC to transform for your player characters' first mutant encounter.
- The Missing Krablads quest, with a full walkthrough of the adventure.
- Monster Maker paper mini printouts, for those who like to get crafty with their monster making.
- Monster Maker digital assets, for those who prefer to use software to create their creeps.
- Cave Maps to accompany the Missing Crablads adventure.
- Creature Stat Blocks for giant crabs, star-infested giant crabs, an example stat block of the horrific star mutant found in The Missing Krablads quest & a template to create your own monsters with.
We hope you enjoy this monster maker and the Krablads quest. Fun fact: the Missing Krablads is the first bit of "Stars of the Sea" we wrote, and played for the first time with friends more than 2 years ago!
