SotS ACT2 Playtest: New Quests!

Hello everyone!

In early September we started a new playtest format in our discord server, where patrons can sign up for individual one-shot test sessions called Quests, that all add up to one continuous story. So far, the adventurers of the Silver Stars have explored the Hole to Nowhere beneath the Middens, and have killed the spooky Wryneck.

In addition, we have introduced Downtime Activities to our playtest, where all adventurers -- even those not able to participate in Quests -- can take the opportunity to contribute to the story through text-based role-play.

For the next series of Quests we're going to stay near the city of Silver Spires, and go on a series of single-session adventures that everyone can enjoy. To sign up for one of these Quests, look for the Quest Announcements channel in our discord server.

The following quests are scheduled: 

Quest: Slugs at the Emporium
Strange otherworldly slugs keep appearing in the Inventor's Guild Emporium, biting customers and disrupting exhibitions. Though they are easily disposed of, they keep appearing, and the Inventor's Guild needs help figuring out where the slugs are coming from.

When: One session: Saturday the 10th of October.
Start Time: 8PM BST / 3PM EDT / 12PM PDT

Quest: Monster Hunt
Revellers at Elvin Boulevard report seeing monsters in the night. People have started to stay away, and this is bad for business. Either debunk the stories and prove there is no monster, or find it and ensure it won't continue to bother the visitors. People must feel secure in returning to the Boulevard!

When: One session: Saturday the 17th of October.
Start Time: 8PM BST / 3PM EDT / 12PM PDT

Quest: Protecting O'Leyah
O'leyah has requested a group of trustworthy adventurers to protect her as she runs some errands on Soulspire Island. Attending adventurers are expected to be able to follow etiquette and keep their decorum as they interact with the public and the Silver Spires' elite.

When: One session: Saturday the 24th of October.  
Start Time: 8PM BST / 3PM EDT / 12PM PDT

You can sign up to participate in these Quests in the #quest-announcements channel of our Discord server, once they have been announced there. To sign up, you must have first submitted a character to the #character-profiles channel, created using the Ancestry & Culture playtest material.
