Quest Pack 14 : Battle for the Eye

A dastardly plot by a shrewd Dryfoot councillor starts to form, whilst the boggards in the Soggy Bottom begin to mobilise for their rebellion. Hilltop is put on firm lock down, clergy are imprisoned in the church, guards posted on all the gates… Everyone in town is ready to take advantage of the disruption caused by Tor’s awakening, but who will emerge victorious….?

In this Quest Pack, the player characters become the central actors in a conflict that consumes the town of Dryfoot Hill, triggered by Tor's awakening. Gharm the Orator plots to use the Eye of Hemel to dominate Tor's mind, and turn the turtle god into a formidable weapon for Dragonspring. Boggards get ready to storm Hilltop Hold to fight for Tor's freedom, and the Silent Order flits through the shadows, waiting for an opportunity to strike...

We consider this to be the final chapter of the Forgotten God story arc; a way to bring all the threads to a dramatic climax that covers the entire town. We've created all sorts of formidable miniatures, from fighting dragonborn to boggard sorcerers, as well as making Gharm’s re-cut Eye of Hemel crystal, and various player rewards to hand out, each one different depending on how your story ends.

Quest Pack 14 contains:

• A full 12 page guide that details Gharm’s plan, how all the factions come into play, and various story hooks for players
• A print-and-build Eye of Hemel crystal with carved ritual circle
• 8 paper miniatures, including Kromag, Gharm’s right-hand man, his dragon mount Brutalitor, Gharm, Kromag & Brutalitor variants, 2 wild sorcerer boggards and a war-slimes pot
• NPC cards with stats and moves for Kromag, Brutalitor and Wild Sorcerers
• Printable player rewards including deeds to buildings in Dryfoot, a commemorative plaque, tattoos, medallions and Silent Order membership cards.

Whilst this Quest Pack covers how to bring the story to its crescendo, we still have a few loose ends to tie up in Dryfoot for the next few Quest Packs, including a fully mapped adventure through the Silent Order’s Dryfoot HQ: Stillstone!
