This is a video I’ve been planning for a while, I think I had the idea for this one back around the time I decided I was going to do the Bizarre Modern Reality of The Simpsons. I wanted to do it because I wanted to try and do something different with that format, to show fandom not just as something positive, but as a reflection of its media in good and bad ways.
The Simpsons video on this is probably one of favorite videos I’ve done, at the time it felt like a real step forward for the channel and it was exciting returning to that style of video, but I think that also gave me a lot of trouble, as I felt like I was trying to live up to that video, and that was something that was on my mind the entire production. Staying Creative while not being able to go outside/ see friends/ do any of the stuff that makes me feel like me was tough, and I worry that maybe that effected the quality of the video, but I guess we'll see what people make of it. Also felt a kind of... weird responsibility with this one, I know people are hurting for stuff to keep there mind of the pandemic.
Apologies if this post is rambely, The last couple of days of crunch were pretty intense and I feel kind of out of it, so I'm gonna go lie down, then wake up and play the ff7 remake which I haven't had a chance to do yet.
