What Makes Attack on Titan Popular?

This time around we're talking Attack on Titan!

When ever a series blows up, I find it kind of fascinating, as often it seems nearly completely divorced from the general perceived quality of a sires, and so I wanted to examine Attack on Titan under that angle, in part because despite its flaws, its a show I really enjoy.

I'm pretty happy with how this one turned out, it was a really fun one to edit, mainly because the music and visuals from AOT are so much fun to play around with, it was a difficult one to write as it was less about what I personally thought about it, as opposed to what an audience at large gets from it, which is kind of the opposite to how I right most videos, but I think tackling subjects from new angles like that is important if I want to keep these videos interesting in the long term.
