Lothariel (oc portrait)

okay, this was very self-indulgent.

This is my OC, Lothariel. She's my go-to CRPG player character for god knows how long. I originally created her for my first Neverwinter Nights playthrough years and years ago. She's a faerie dragon obsessed Arcane Archer. I've played her on an RP server before, she's been my BG1&2 Bhaalspawn, and she's also romanced Gale in BG3 lol.

I wanted to give her a proper portrait for when I play her, and I will be using this for my first proper playthrough of Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. (Azata mythic path, obviously lol)

She has an entire sleeve of faerie dragon tattoos that I think I would like to tackle at some point if I'm feeling brave and/or crazy...

I usually play very lawful aligned characters (good, neutral, and evil) pretty exclusively in both TTRPGs and CRPGs, but Lothariel has always been my chaotic neutral dragon loving weirdo. She has absolutely no fear of dragons regardless of how much trouble that gets her into.

I'll share some old art of her below, I find it really fun to look through how I've drawn my characters throughout the years. I honestly have never been one to do a lot of OC art but I do think she might be my most frequently drawn.

I hadn't painted her in a long long time; years I think, and the last portrait I made for her is this one which I think is still chilling in my last Hordes of the Underdark save. As you can see she really needed an update haha.

And below some Lothariel with her first love, Valen from Hordes of the Underdark. In my canon for her she outlived him and ended up falling in love with Gale, as she lives in Waterdeep and I think they'd get along.
