Rogue Trader: Sacred Stigmata (Pasqal fanart)
Added 2024-06-28 05:53:23 +0000 UTCRomances aside, Pasqal is my favorite companion in Rogue Trader. I have been working on this piece for a while here and there and finally had the time to finish it this evening!!
This was less of a challenge than I thought it would be, which was really surprising since it involves a LOT of things I'm not particularly versed in painting.
I wanted to work harder on getting the background out of focus and guiding the eye a bit better to the character, without relying on the blur function and instead just trying to loosen up my brushstrokes. I have done this a bit previously but never so deliberately.
I don't really have much to say this time, though I'm really sad that this game doesn't have the popularity it deserves. It's really wonderful chatting with people who've played it. I have to try and remind myself that I have to paint what my heart wants to even if it isn't the hottest thing. I'm not really the type of person to follow trends much at all- very much a follower of "the heart wants what the heart wants" lol. It's only a matter of time before I start painting VtM: Bloodlines art again...
