CAD Files from Nuclear Power Video

I made a HUGE number of 3D models for the nuclear power video. I have NO IDEA what you might want to do with these files, but I put so much work into them I thought you might enjoy doing something with them! I've included the original Autodesk Inventor files if you're someone who uses Inventor. I've also included the files in STEP format so you can edit them.

You'll find a motor mount file in the models. It is made to use this motor: https://us.store.bambulab.com/collections/tt-motor/products/tt-motor-dc5v-59rpm-ccw-single-axis  I used some brass rod for axles.

Thank you so much for supporting on Patreon! I'm really grateful. I'd love to see some of the things you make with these files!

Regards,

Destin

Hey - so I think that large cylindrical object hooked to the genset exhaust is a separate burner (probably sharing the exhaust stack) to generate steam for purposes? testing the turbine maybe? or heating? actually - it would be a good dual-redundancy in case of reactor shutdown - or perhaps sharing load. https://images.app.goo.gl/ZfEhrbiMyeL3Shz3A

I love that you shared these! I have been modeling and 3D printing stuff for 4 years now, and have been a fan of your videos since forever. I am so excited about both the manufacturing and the nuclear deep dive! I’ve learned so much from your content, and with your inspiration I got my first job at an aerospace manufacturing company. I’m 18 and I know there are tons of young people like me that are encouraged by your work to become productive scientists, engineers, and problem solvers, but more than that you have inspired us to be respectful, kind, and curious. Thank you for everything! Keep up the good work!!

I love when CAD files are shared! To be honest, I probably won’t print these, but who knows there might be projects in the future that I print. In my print queue (meaning some time this year) I have the flagellar motor from Bambu’s Makerworld.

Maybe next year's "stickers." In 3D?

A educational cut away model of a reactor like the catiav5ftw jet engine, would be amazing but man would that take way more time than I have.
