Important tier change

tl:dr; changed the Patreon tier structure to per-release so everyone should change to the new tier because it's cheaper now than the original.

As I detailed in a previous post I just added a new tier. But Patreon is weird, I could change the tier structure (from monthly to per release) but I couldn't change the cost (from 5$ to 3$) so we're in a bit of a limbo.

Quick update about Patreon

Tl:dr; I'm going back to college and will have to change the Patreon setup after the next release. It'll be roughly the same just instead of a large monthly flat membership, it's going to be a smaller "per update" patronage (all optional).

Heads up it's going to be a fairly different style compared to Scarlett's, I found an artist who mostly draws traps and they seemed like the best choice with open commissions at the time. Scarlett's art was finished pretty quickly, the artist is @Toonguy100 on Twitter. This is the first art for the game, I hope you all like it.

Note: one of the four pictures is not relevant yet, I just thought there might be a path in the future for Scarlett where the strap-on could be swapped for something more - for now it's just eye-candy.

v0.2.3.5 - Update on character art

I just got back from vacation so this update is slimmer than usual. I focused mostly on writing instead and finally commissioned the art for the characters. I'm subsidizing my week off with an extra commission so both Scarlett and Timmy should get an art as they were the two winners of the last poll.

I guess it's time to do it, I've been sitting on the Patreon contributions so far but now there should be some funds to pour into the game. This is not just a side hustle for me, I'd like to make the game better and I thought character art would help with that.

Since Arcade 18 is set in the future adding character art is going to be hard from normal sources, that's also why most of the cast is rather plain looking, it's easier to find visuals for them.

A new character is introduced for betas this version but I already had her for alphas. The plan is to have characters compatible with both roles, although most of the emphasis is on the beta side right now.

I might pause the memberships in August because I'm going vacation and I'm not sure how much progress I do but we'll see.

Just a heads up because usually I finish a new version every two weeks or so. I'm mostly done with the next one but I just found a bug while playtesting and I need to add a few images. I'll have to work overtime at my job tomorrow so I'll most likely only finish by the weekend.

I spent a lot of time figuring out an online feature but at least it's a big hurdle gone now. There's an interactive feedback system and an leaderboard so there's at least some use for player's xp now.

Arcade 18 pre-release [0.2.0.1]

This is my first release here. I will do smaller updates on Patreon between the major public ones. Right now I plan to do a Patreon-release every 2 weeks and a public-release every 2 months. This is all subject to change though.

There's a chemist that sells transformation items to increase or decrease the size of certain body parts. I haven't finished the parser yet so these won't be reflected in scenes yet.
