Hey Destin, was hoping this catches your eye. I just opened the package now that tink ow where I'm hanging it and noticed that it was scratched, basically a straight line about 4 or five inches. Got my metallic print today and it is awesome! The hanging method took a minute but it has a neat feature: I kept the eclipse glasses I used in 2024 and 2017 and they fit great inside the back!

Follow-up: The paper copy spent nearly two weeks laying under books and ended up nearly flat - flat enough to frame and now hang in my office, so crisis averted! Metal version was packaged very nicely and is beautiful. Thanks! Received my paper print today - wrapped in tissue paper, rolled up tightly (~1") and dropped loosely into a 5" triangular box. So, my question is, if the box is that big, why in the world would they roll the picture up so tightly? Currently laid out flat with tissue paper and books on it hoping to render it flat so I can frame it... sure hope the metal version is packaged more appropriately. This was a bit disappointing.

This was the best post eclipse video i have seen. And you are a real gem for sharing these files with us. We were in Buffalo at the time, and while we stumbled upon a great Jamaican restaurant, that had rented a huge 12 ft screen for us to watch live NASA coverage during all the totality views, we had about 90-95% cloud cover. We were able to see through the clouds up until the diamond ring, then 'nothing' not even after totality. It was still a memorable experience!

Absolutely I almost teared up I am in Indiana and work at Eli Lilly Pharmaceutical and they let everyone pause work and gave us all eclipse glasses and got to experience it. It was amazing. I drove my wife and kids 6 hours round trip to see the 2024 eclipse because of your passion for it. My wife is a photographer, but I told her that I wanted this event to be experienced in real time by all of us together. She obliged, and we got to have a great day of just being in the moment. This is one of the coolest things I've ever seen. I've stupidly never paid attention to the total solar eclipses, even when being in Denver Colorado in 2017. I regret not going to see the total eclipse and it wasn't until your recent videos about them that I realized I made a mistake. Now, to make up for that, I'm going to try to travel internationally in August 2026 to go see that total solar eclipse (I'm thinking Iceland or Spain). Part of that cost is covered by the 18.99 (that's standard international for our shirts and other products) and the $30 is the extra for the expense of shipping this item. I just ordered the metal plate, even before seeing it on video and hopefully it will be able to make its way to Bulgaria xD Thank you for the amazing educational videos that you continue to create for everyone to learn from! A few months ago, my son(10) complained to me that because we encourage him and his sister to watch videos from creators like you, Veritasium, Mark Rober, Tom Scott, etc., and discourage them from watching Mr Beast, and other click-baity, non-educational channels, his video suggestions don't get picked at school. Apparently from time to time, their teacher would let them watch something on YouTube as a class, and since most or all of his classmates haven't heard of any of you all, they don't pick those videos. It was super classy of you to think of spending the eclipse with Dr Telepun, and the way you worked together to bring about this fantastic image brought me a lot of joy. I've used his app for the last 3 total solar eclipses after hearing about it through you. Sticker -- if it's round, consider arranging the partial phases in a barred spiral around the image of totality in the center... kind of like an eclipse galaxy. I think that'd look very cool.

I don't like having the eclipse in the middle of 10th and 11th yellow sun. I would have prefered the eclipse to be at the same visual distance to 10th and 11th, as the distance between two yellow sun. This choice was made when your friend calculated the times to shoot; and it's my personnal taste. Any chance of an option to get the "horizontal line" wide print like you made for Dr. Telepun, but as an actual full analog photographic print? (I know, taken on slide film adds complexity to make a positive print, but I'd love a proper analog photographic process print of it for my wall, and it would look great above my home office door as a 12 or 18 inch tall ultra wide print!) Yes, I understand an analog print of that size would cost multiple hundred dollars. And yes, I have downloaded the 7 GB .zip and could crop and rotate the included 3 GB .psb file and print it out myself on my large format printer for "free plus the cost of paper/ink", but I'm willing to pay the money for a proper analog photo print.
