asking yeonji who she misses was not a test....in english miss and missing are the same base word but in korean they are 2 different words (honestly, there are a TON of words that can apply) but she was asked "bo go ship da" which only means miss in the sense of how she answered (the literal translation is who do you want to see). When someone is missing (like on a milk carton) bc it has a very different feel which is more negative a totally different word is used (it would would've been "upsuh da").
