I have to agree, this original tune Kiss Me was about as successful as it could be and very prevalent background music for a couple decades and I don’t feel like the writers added much with this re-tooling, my ears tell me I’m hearing that song over again. I think out of her singles, New Woman actually works best for me. But if I’m in that mood I’d rather be listening to Hwasa or ChungHa’s new songs. I’m curious to see what Jennie and Rose have been cooking. I really expected them all to express some rebellious art once the contracts opened up. Here Lisa feels like when a celebrity actress gets into singing with safe selections. This stage hits me like typical Western bland pop. I miss the swag, fire, and stage presence she has shown before.
