Filming Our Dredge Doc - Behind the Scenes

Hello Patrons,

As you may have guessed from watching our Dredge Documentary, myself and Jeremy had a fun time putting together the stand-ups for this one. You may not know that the Northern Californian coast retains a large marine layer of cloud that sweeps into San Francisco for most of the summer. Around this time is starts to build around the adjoining counties so by the time August came around a thick layer of sea fog was washing across the coast where myself and Jeremy live.

From there it was just a case of buying a bunch of fishing stuff off of Amazon (nobody called out the fact that my rod didn't have a reel btw - I guess I was going for the fishing pole look) and praying that the fog gods were kind on the evening we went out to film.

They were, and we managed to capture some really great images. Including some great shots of the fish my wife put together for this episode. Maybe we should have her on to talk about how she made it - she usually does crafts and draws cartoons so it was a bit out of her wheelhouse.
