Hello Early Access Patrons!
Our continued mission to cover the hell out of the most interesting contemporary indies continues with a 45 minutes, super-dense documentary about the design of Dredge.
Putting this together was a lot of fun - not just because I got to dress up as a jolly fisherman - but because the team at Black Salt Games provided us with a bounty of development footage which made explaining the development of this game a lot easier.
This is a 99% complete cut which also includes some of the most interesting stand-up filming we've done in a while so I'd love to hear what you think.

I think there’s so much story and puzzle stuff we intentionally didn’t show any of that it’s not AS spoilery as it might seem

2024-08-08 05:38:38 +0000 UTCThat’s fair , and you’d know more as to if it’s a spoiler more than me as it’s on my backlog and I’ve not played it yet. I guess the locations , the big creatures and some of the assessment of dangers about those locations and dangers - kind of spoilers/best left found by the player. I consider this quite a recent game and I imagine there may be a few folks waiting for the time to play this. I will still play this , and in no way has it been ruined for me apart from knowing about some big ol fish around certain areas.

Dredge is a game that for my sins I’ve not played and i now know a bit of mechanics and location things that might’ve been cool to discover in my own time. I did also click the video so the fault is on me - I just know for other docs there normally a spoiler warning. This doc rattles along (good thing), it’s a good’un for sure
