Who Should I interview on DEAR DWYERY?

Hello Patrons!

My new interview podcast DEAR DWYERY is gonna launch in the next month or so and we're lining up interviewees for the first few episodes. Think of it as a one-on-one interview podcast with all-time game developers, up and coming indies, journalists, streamers, YouTubers and more. Pleasantly edited with some scripted parts in there to let you know about the game/person we're talking about.

With that all said, I'd love to know who you would like to hear on the podcast?

What games have we not covered on Noclip that would make for a good interview? Which gaming personality would you like to hear from? What job within the industry would you enjoy learning more about?

Answers in the comments folks, and if you like anybody else's answer give them a ❤️.

We will definitely be pulling from this list.

- Danny

PS: Shout out to Jeff Delgado for the insane podcast art. It turned out better and more deranged than I could have imagined.

Comments

Oh my god yes gonna reach out to a bunch of those. Justin Smith is inspired!

Noclip

Few Vancouver devs Justin Smith (Desert Golf) Sarah Northway (I was a Teenage Exocolonist, Fantastic Contraption) Greg Lobanov (Chicory, Wandersong) Chris Bourassa (Darkest Dungeon) Tom Francais (Gunpoint)

Galen Ryder

A lot of folks have mentioned many of the behind-the-scenes folks behind a lot of games already, so I think I'll suggest folks from a different perspective. What about YouTubers whose whole thing is on how to develop your own games (CodeMonkey, Jason Weimann), or talk about games (Outside XBox & Outside Xtra, GameRanx, WhatCulture Gaming), or just play games for others to enjoy watching (Markiplier, EthosLab, Neebs Gaming). All of these folks would bring their own perspectives to the much larger gaming world.

The Great Unknown

More Tim Schafer of course. Also Sam Lake. Chris Avellone since IIRC he's no longer cancelled.
