FINAL VOTE! - Greatest Hits #5 (ROUND 2 of 2)
Added 2022-11-04 16:45:53 +0000 UTCHey Patrons,
The votes from Round One have been tallied and we have our two finalists.
1) Unreal Tournament / Unreal (35%)
2) Wipeout (30%)
-----------------------------------------
3) The Chronicles of Riddick (15%)
4) The Simpsons Hit and Run (6%)
4) Homeworld (6%)
6) Age of Empires 2 (6%)
While Riddick held its ground for a short while it seemed inevitable that Unreal and Wipeout would win this one out. Which makes me ask the question - should we have the fist vote of Greatest Hits where more than 65% of the voters are actually happy?
So how about a bit of game theory chaos...
Below you can vote for either Unreal / Unreal Tournament or Wipeout. You can also use your vote to ask us to do both. If over 50% of voting patrons decide that's the right course of action, we'll start work on both of them. If fewer than 50% vote for that, the winner will be the game that has the highest amount of individual votes.
So what will it be - Flak Cannons or Feisars?
Time to decide....
Comments
On one hand the Story of Unreal Tournament & Unreal is fascinating, because of how much the development of these two titles is intertwined, but in the exact opposite way most people thinks it is. And of course its the origin of the whole Unreal-Engine-Empire of today... On the other hand I can't think of another game that so much captures the vibes of one moment in gaming history like wipeout: PSOne, CD-ROM, UK techno, the widening of the gaming audience. By the time the (in almost every way superior) sequel came out only one year later, its like the whole gaming world had changed... Both games very worthy of this double feature!
