Hey Production Team!

A winner has been chosen. Rollercoaster Tycoon will be the focus of the first episode of Greatest Hits - so all we have to do now in make the show!

This is where the work really starts and where the production team content gets fun. Over the coming  month we will be locked in pre-production where we research the game, film interviews, collect b-roll, and undercover the story we're telling. The month after that (April) will be post production where we edit, film any pick-ups, write the script and release the doc. So before we start this month's pre-production work we want to get together with the community and talk about the project.

How can I get involved?

Well first of all you don't have to turn up, fully researched with a notepad and pen. These are  meant to be a patron reward, not homework. So there are loads of ways to help us out or just enjoy the content, including;

• Give us suggestions and ideas in the comments below. We will bring them up in the meeting even if you are not there.
• Join live and ask questions in the chat. We may have a method to get your voice on the stream too but we're working it out.
• Just join the stream and lurk. We have plenty to discuss between ourselves and we won't call anyone out randomly.
• Watch the VOD after the live event. We'll keep the stream punchy and entertaining so it's a fun watch for those of you who can't be there live.

So what is the focus of tomorrow's meeting?

Tomorrow we are going to try and explore the different ways we could create this episode. Who we should interview, what streamers and/or YouTubers are in the RCT scene, where we should film, what b-roll we should get, what other games RCT perhaps inspired, what other Tycoon games we should pull in, what RCT games should be the focus and which should we spend less time on? Basically anything to do with the planning of the doc. 

Remember the golden rule - there are no bad ideas in brainstorming - so if you have any ideas or suggestions, no matter how outlandish, please stick them in the comments or bring them up tomorrow.

We'll try and move these meetings around so that as many folks can be involved as possible. For those of you who can make it, we look forward to hearing your input. And for those of you who can't, shoot us your ideas in the comments below, and comment on the VOD after the fact too - I'll be checking both during the duration of pre-production.
