[NEW DOC] GOG: Preserving Gaming's Past & Future

YOUTUBE LINK: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ffngZOB1U2A

Hey Patrons,

I guess just because I now have a 5 day old daughter doesn't mean the docs stop coming! Thanks for all the kind words over the past few days by the way. Mother and baby are doing great and we're very excited about our new friend.

Anyway, we have a new doc!

In our documentary we talk to the folks at GOG about the difficult job of resurrecting hundreds of classic games and the stories behind why certain titles (such as Dune 2 &  No One Lives Forever) have eluded them so far.

Recorded last year during our time at CD Projekt, this is a doc I've been looking forward to releasing for a long time and I'm pretty happy with how it's turned out.

Let me know what you think!

Danny

Really enjoyed this Doc! Although I have purchased some games from GOG, this DOC makes me want to shift more of my future purchases from Steam to GOG. Congratulates on the baby too!

Another great documentary! I really enjoyed learning all about GOG and being able to do so is one of many reasons I'm happy to support this work. Looking forward to the next one!

Hi Danny, watching the part about physical DRM and it just struck me how many hours me and my brother spent on King's Quest VI, which came already installed on our family's first PC, only to fail at the manual DRM part. No Internet at our home back then so we were lost. Some 20+ years later, just went to GOG and sure enough, it's there together with the manuals for a very affordable price. Time to finally beat this thing! 😂😂
