A quick message of thanks from us all here at Noclip.
2017 was our first full year of documentary production since starting this adventure. During the past twelve months we filmed in 5 countries across 3 continents. Some were multi-part, others were individuals. Some were about games, others were about people. We created docs on John Romero, Spelunky, Frog Fractions, The Witness, FINAL FANTASY XIV, The Witcher, GTA Online, PUBG, Horizon Zero Dawn and plenty more. We served over 4 million video views, received an extra 100k subscribers and reached new audiences all around the world.
We did all of this through your support as patrons. Every flight we took, hotel we stayed in, every hour of editing time, and even every meal I've eaten this year has come from your generosity and support. We hope we've held up our end of the bargain.
We have big plans to break new ground next year. We want to cover games that are still in development. We want to make docs with longer production times, and docs with shorter run times. We plan to get our community more involved in what we cover. We want to get better at filming, motion graphics, script-writing and much more.
I also want to take this opportunity to extend my personal thanks. Noclip has been the most creatively energizing project of my life and there's not a day goes by that I am not thankful of the opportunity that you have all given me. I want nothing more than to re-pay your trust by creating videos that inspire, entertain and give joy to those who watch them.
So whoever you are, wherever you are, I want to wish you and yours the best this season, and look forward to continuing our adventure in 2018.
