I think Chapter 10! I’m quite itchy to get on with the main plot, but I think it won’t hit quite the same unless we’re at least somewhat caught up with the interludes or have solidified some of these relationships further. Hi everybody, I just wanted to pop in and give a quick update on how things are looking! I just got back to the states the day before yesterday: my family took my fiance and I along with them on a trip to Taipei, Bali, and Sydney over the last few weeks, which was a very fun time and a break that I desperately needed. I even got some architectural inspiration for my current book as well as for Shepherds, as the village of Jiufen looks a bit how I always imagined parts of Ygrath!

I finally started experimenting with different fonts to indicate different speakers--something I've been wanting to do since starting this epistolary fic--and I had a lot of fun with it, though I hope it's not too confusing! I wish I could say I'm surprised by how Chase's interview turned out, but the man's like an eel: Ignis was in way over his head from the get-go, and I think he realized it, too! My hope is to intersperse more of these interviews throughout the story!
