I know that you don't like the series right now with 6 &7 but letting us know the struggles also helps us understand who XG is.. you can't expect to have everyone make it. Simon did what was best for the group and Airi does still keep in contact with Simon and XG

They knew the process they were committing to, and Simon didn't make any decision without feeling for his trainees and feeling the emotion of the cut. You can't argue with the balance of talent and personalities that the 7 became, it just is what it is. The same way a GM makes roster decision so the players can focus on winning games.
