Behind The Scenes: Boat Drone Adventure!

Hey Patrons,
We shot plenty of behind-the-scenes stuff while in Tennessee and Warsaw, but seen as those projects are still a while away from being finished, I thought it would be fun to post some of it early.
During our GTA Online doc we filmed a lot using our Mavic Pro Drone. The plan was to imitate the intro / character swap animation from GTA V in our doc. We spent the Saturday of the weekend filming on land at the crew's community get-together, but on the Sunday we set sail on their private boat. Obviously we needed to get some footage of that, so that meant launching and landing the drone while bobbing around in a lake.
I've used the drone a bunch, but it's fair to say I was a little nervous doing this. Especially when you consider the 'nontraditional' way we had to land the bloody thing. The video above chronicles the whole experience, with audio recorded from my phone while piloting.
I'll leave it at that. Enjoy the footage :)
