I know it can be overwhelming to comprehend so many intricate details and yet it's still amazing that the collective we of scientists and the science-enthused teased apart and can understand the mechanisms of photosynthesis. Here's to the one-celled organisms, algae, and other plants who transform starlight. To quote Harold Baum's Biochemists' Song Book, "The one thing that keeps life alive is photosynthesis."
