2023-09-12 16:53:07 +0000 UTCJoey! I suggest a full strength mescaline journey, it's got just as much to offer as the 🍄🌈 it's just a little different since it has more epinephriney effects, like a psychedelic stimulant A couple feet of potent Trichocereus 🌵 will get you talking to your elders

2023-09-10 17:20:27 +0000 UTCA landscaper called you an amateur? Jesus Fekking Christ! One of the most crazy things I learned at the first nursery job I ever had was that 99% of landscapers know nothing about plants. Nothing. They'd come in and bark what color blooms they wanted. So no wonder their plans tend to suck and all look near identical. It seems as though you feel the same about permaculture people as I feel about "master gardeners."

2023-09-07 06:04:19 +0000 UTCThis is great. This movement must hit the ground running. I'm thinking about how I could start some business in this field to best suit an area nearby to that which you did the landscaping at. I think one of the biggest things is finding a lot of plants I personally would like to use. I think it would be great to collect as many seeds as possible from all the native plants one can find on https://www.illinoiswildflowers.info/ and illinoisbotanizer's website. I have so much to do at my new house and to finish at work and doing it alone will take a while since I work full-time. I'm not sure it will be possible to do, but it would be great to find others in IL that have a similar goal, which is to get natives into as many people's yards as possible, in a way that most benefits local ecology and soil. If one could hybridize that with a type of food forest and experimental plants that are best suited for the future warmer climate, that would be amazing. Hopefully there will be much success @ experimental farm network with such plants. Another thing would be to get as many hollowed or partially hollowed logs to get native bees building hives in.

2023-09-06 21:28:33 +0000 UTCGood stuff. Does kill your lawn ever cover dealing with invasives? I got the Rumex acetosella real bad along with all the creeps you can think of: charlie, bellflower, thistle you name it. I've got about half an acre to work with and it's hard to imagine getting those under control. I don't know anything about permaculture but I do get real annoyed when people suggest I just make a salad out of them. I'd rather not expedite invasives choking out the natives thank you very much.

2023-09-06 20:32:07 +0000 UTCHave to admit the rant episodes are my favorite. And it’s cool you brought up that video on Hanks channel. That was my comment on his video that I thought the fact he was ranting about it was the perfect way to sway a mass audience. People love to hear other people go off. Even if they don’t agree with what you’re saying they still listen because you’re ranting. You don’t have to try to convince anybody of your point of view, you just make sure they know what it is. Thanks for the rants!
