Massive Old Bastards of Humboldt County

Another too-long video filled with crass jokes, lewd and misanthropic commentary and tons of botanical insight. From 2,000 year old trees, to sea lions, to plants that parasitize fungi, this video is packed with the flora and fauna of Humboldt County. Has anybody ever sexually harassed a Roosevelt Elk before, or seen a sea look exhibitionist?

They are one of my favorite plants to show people when I'm hiking. They (at least the ones in the netherlands) taste exactly like apple

astonishing, catholicpunishment.com is A) available and B) not a porn site yet...

Dear Tony. It looks like, you just made my day. I didn't know, that tannins are affecting the soil pH. Here in Thailand, we have extremely loamy soil and I am just planting lots of Indian Almonds with heavily loaded tannin leaves. Looks like the right choice 8-)

Really like this one and welcome our new sea lion overlords.

"Another too-long video filled with crass jokes, lewd and misanthropic commentary and tons of botanical insight." - This combo is exactly why we're here - unavailable elsewhere

Somehow it's very touching to see you in my little town. I'd like to think the potheads outnumber the tweakers though.

Videos get released on Patreon first, then made public a few days to a few weeks later.

This only seems to be on Patreon not Youtube. I love wood sorrell and it's full of vitamin C.

The irony of where I live is that most of the old growth trees, ponderosas up to 6 ft in diameter on what's basically mixed steppe & forest on glacial till, are on old army land. They practiced killing indians there and never got around to cutting down all the trees.

Thanks for your work for our planet. Don't think we don't know. I am filled with hope that you might come to Santa Cruz County. So rich in life! Coastal, redwoods, river, etc. I remember you remarked once that you had been here. Would be privileged to be your local travel liaison should you venture this way.

Not long enough!

Excellent. I was so hoping you would do a North Coast episode like this. Loved it. My old stomping grounds. HSU Class of '87. I took general ed botany there and it shaped me. I remember seeing the ferns moving under the microscope to spread their spores. Mind blowing. Maybe I was a little stoned. I share your disgust of the death cult. Thank you. Well done. GFY too.

Can’t wait to watch this!
