/Finished Art Book for :10: / Final Shoots
Added 2024-05-12 22:09:34 +0000 UTCFinally had the chance to shoot the last 2 sets. Yellow king, and Hiding. Thanks to Dalia for being available to shoot these last two concepts. along with a bunch of other beauty images I will be posting later this week.
Here are the concept shots followed by a few book spreads. I did black and white for the yellow king track, but later changed everything to yellows in post for the composite images. Yellow King track is loosely based off the yellow king from true detective season one. I created an idol of bones and a crown, which ended up being too big, but we used it anyway.
Hiding was created using a soft stretchy see through cloth I soaked in water, then had Dalia moving and stretching underneath it. one main light above her, and a simple ocean light set to orange color on the side. Turned out better than I thought they would, so I think we lucked out.
Once the book is shipped, I will be creating another post of the final project along with a digital download. I will have the book up for sale on blurb - June 28th once the album releases, but I don't expect many people to buy it, since the list price is $150. This is definitely the down side of self publishing - how expensive projects like this cost. But I love seeing all my work I put into something in physical printed form, so I don't mind buying one for myself.
