Also, I'm pretty sure that for this new, very downtuned ERRA, the bass is doing something funny where the top 4 strings are the same notes as the guitar, and then the low 5th string is a G# that only plays the octave below in certain chords. Peruse my take on it!

I think I finally nailed the SLL-style bus compression to my taste. I also did some sacrilege on bass in this one (it's clean, there's no distortion... IT DOESN'T GRIND UP THE CENTER CHANNEL!!!) and mixed 2 sets of rhythm guitars at the same time, a rare occurence.

Tuning: Drop C
(Those iconic low B's are originally played with the use of a tremolo bridge, as you can see me paying hommage to by bending the 5th string as you would to get that effect. You can come up with your own alternatives. I just play C's (0's) and don't mind, but you can play B's in the next octave or pitch shift at will)

Here is a deep dive on a lot of production that usually goes into this type of music. Breaking down the automation tricks for pitch shifting and to make it sound good, synthesizer patches I created, and FX that run throughout the song. Had a lot of fun with this, in addition to the usual "band" mix.
