Added 2019-09-09 18:00:10 +0000 UTCToday, I'm punching the clock... and I'm typing this from a bright purple couch inside Nickelodeon studios (sneaky photos to come.)
The good news is I was booked to work 4 days this week as a Harley Quinn knock-off (Wow, it me) making this my biggest "acting" gig yet!! It's only background work, I know, but it's perfect for me right now and it IS a show on a major cable network. I especially love the food on these sets: I just had fresh sliced avocado, lox, and cucumber.
There's also a chocolate chip muffin with my name on it for later, and unlimited coffee.
I'd like to get serious about acting, but I'm still lacking in skills and confidence compared to the classically-trained actors, theater majors, and lifelong dreamers that crowd this city. I'm finding background acting is helping me feel more comfortable with how TV sets operate, and this is building my confidence. And I'm being paid of course!
The bad news is I'm still not done with the Vinyl Leggings Lookbook video... but I am close! And it is gonna be a good one.
With some luck, I'll be able to get it done here on set since there's often a lot of waiting around. Thanks for hanging in there guys, and I hope everyone has a Monday as great as mine xx

It's called Henry Danger! It's a cool scene actually, with a bunch of super villains in an underground fight club. And supposedly, after this project, I will become SAG eligible =)
