Hello everyone. Been a while since I've made a long-form post. There's quite a bit to cover, and for a lot of it, I'll have to ask for your patience.
First of all, if you aren't already aware, I've decided to partner with the publisher Critical Bliss in order to get funding, connections, and other resources to help my future projects reach new heights, and ensure a future for myself as a game developer.
With Critical Bliss as the new publisher, Mahou Mating will undergo a bunch of redesigns and reworks. You can see more on this announcement I made on Steam:

Because of the large amount of work involved in the planned reworks, my time estimates for the game have been pretty much thrown out the window, and the only thing I can say for certain at this point is that it will not be releasing in 2020 as originally planned. Unfortunately, you'll have to wait longer than expected.
However, I don't want to go for more than a year without releasing something for all of you to enjoy, especially since Steamy Sextet was not a very large game for me to release early this year.
So, I've made a decision to take a risk, and do something that may dissapoint some of you, but excite others.
As some of you may know, Before I started making my own games, I worked on games owned by other people as a freelancer. One such project that I helped with was Maid Mansion, a game by Crazy Cactus Entertainment. I didn't do much besides make the soundtrack, but it was a project I was excited to see where it would go.
That was maybe 3-4 years ago. About a month ago, I got a message from Crazy Cactus, letting me know that development of the game was completely stalled, and he was looking for a replacement programmer to put his game together. He had all the assets finished, but had spent years unable to progress because of certain setbacks.
We discussed possible solutions, and I introduced him to my connection with Critical Bliss. After talking for some time, the three of us all came to an agreement: In exchange for portions of the game's revenue, I would help code his game and get it ready for release this October, and Critical Bliss would publish it with their marketing power, and we'd all get another product to our name. And you fans will get a nice long game that's (almost) like my usual fare! Everybody wins.
So, over the past few weeks, I've started working on Maid Mansion, revamping their old demo from 4 years ago in my style, and making all the improvements I can. You can download and play the new demo right now, with all of it's improvements making it on a level of quality you might expect from me.
Wishlist and play the demo on Steam:

Now, spending months working on this new project will most certainly delay the development and release of Mahou Mating. I'm going to need to put the project on hiatus for a while, and I know that's going to make some of you dissapointed, but I swear it will be worth it. While I'm working on Maid Mansion, the new art team from Critical Bliss will be working on new assets to spice up Mahou Mating and make it a much better game than it would have been without their help. THe product that Mahou Mating is turning out to be is something I'm very excited about, even if it's taking a long time to make.
As always, thanks to everyone for your patience. I hope you enjoy the demo for Maid Mansion, and look forward to the full game, which will be releasing this October.
