First I'd like to thankyou for supporting this effort and myself. I'm excited at where we'll take this project. Later in the month I'll do a post about some of the upcoming features, but for now I want to ensure that I take care of the early adopters and supporters (You!) So my first focus will be on support and making sure things are easy to use and setup.
Here's what you'll need to set this up:
1) Raspberry Pi 4 2gb or greater
2) Micro SD Card..I recommend 32 gigs or bigger
3) A monitor or TV...I've found 22" works good, but 32" or bigger really is impressive. 1080p will work fine. If you go with a monitor, look for an IPS based one for better viewing angles. If you want sound, a TV may work better. I'm currently using Vizio 32" screens with as small of bezels as I could find.
4) A power cable and Mini HDMI to HDMI cable
5) Optional - A TV or screen wall mount. I use ones that rotate, but whatever works where you're displaying your artwork and posters
6) A network cable or wifi access where you're setting it up.
I'm working on the first run tutorial now and will be releasing that in a post in the next day or so. For now I wanted to get the software to those that know how to set it up so they can experience the new build.
Note: This is the first release.. I Plan a second release addressing any early bugs for February Patreon members.
