Last night, for the first time ever I got a DMCA Takedown notice on PATREON. You read that right...HERE.
The copyrighted content is all of the Naruto episodes, and I've got a week to delete them or else my Patreon will be permanently suspended.
NOW here's the plan. This was a bit of a shock, but from now on I'll be moving anime AND k-drama posts back to Dropbox, instead of just uploading them through Patreon's native player. K-Pop and J-Pop content will continue to be uploaded in the native Patreon player for the time being, but I believe this is in both my and your best interests 🥺❤️
I can't afford to have the Patreon suspended and / or all videos lost, so Dropbox will be the perfect place in addition to my external hard drive backups to have these things saved.
Right now, Naruto is still viewable as normal, but once I've reuploaded the VODs to Dropbox, I'll be making a new post with links for episodes 1-9 to access. Basically, you guys won't notice any difference other than having to click links to view the episodes on Dropbox, but I thought I'd let you know just in case.
For those who peeped Bleach last night, I'd uploaded that just before I got the strike, so I deleted and am also reuploading that now.
I know that at times Dropbox is not the friendliest player to use, although I have heard that as long as you dont (?) use the app it's generally fine, but this is the most reliable as the risk of being struck is SIGNIFICANTLY by far much lower as Dropbox is a cloud storage service and not a video hosting platform.
K-Pop album listens and our regular content will continue here as normal, but I may have to also move concerts, some survival shows and other things to Dropbox in time, but will update you as we progress with that.
Either way, apologies for any lateness posting today y'all - these files take FOREVER to upload to Dropbox (another huge pain), so things might be a little delayed.
Run BTS for last week has been filmed along with another piece of content, and we also have MHA Movie 1: 'Two Heroes', MHA Season 2 Eps 1-3, and also Bleach Ep. 1 along with the reactions to the openings on the way. Hope you guys can look forward to that.

You do what you gotta do to protect your account! I'm okay with Dropbox, I've never had an issue with it. Sounds like it's more troublesome for you though and that sucks 😕 Sorry your account got such a notice. Hoping it all works out!! 🤞

If you or any of your subscribers follow anime reactors, I think we should warn them. Also I don't have any problems with Dropbox, but I mostly use it from my computer and not my phone. Think you have a solid plan of action about this, hang in there cause' we're with you 😊

2023-03-23 08:01:17 +0000 UTCI've seen a few use them as well but I read their T&C and Privacy Policy and apparently they strictly prohibit copyrighted works from being uploaded to their site so I think it would only be a matter of time before they found out. Will look into it a little more though!

But you got this bro! i hate dropbox with my whole heart but ill use it just for you hahaha <3 we got your back bro and also the community last night in stream finding ways we can download the patreon vods were awesome too
