Looks like I’ll be posting more warm up sketches and one offs the next week or so! Comic pages will have to wait until this sudden onslaught of work cools a bit.
What’s wild is usually January is one of my slowest months for commercial boards, but suddenly everyone wants to pitch ideas early. This is not a complaint! I love my job. The deadlines are DOOZIES though.
Next week’s mantra after closing an already crazy one:
“Hydrate, eat, AND DRAW as fast as you can!”
And
“SLEEP IS FOR THE WEAK!”
Don’t be surprised if I post goofy things. Mama pigeon is gonna be slap happy by Wednesday! (Oo! Bongos!)
