Thank you so much for revealing another one of your favourite pieces to us and also your own to this song connected background story. I listened to it yesterday night for the very first time, just before falling asleep without watching the video and it had a pleasantly calming effect on me, especially with your beautiful words at the start of the song. In the foreground, I recognized something older and familiar that I cannot quite put my finger on, while something newer and more modern stands in the background. But both are in good balance. And I like the unusual guitar strumming and the slow pace of the rhythm. This morning, I listened to “Venus Flytrap” again together with the video. The sequences shown distracted me somewhat from the dreamy music, mainly because I couldn't place them, especially in connection with the lyrics. I would be interested to hear how you interpret the video.

Like..you need to already feel a certain something when this comes along and elevates it.. There were certain things I liked but nothing stood out.. That said…I rarely connect with songs first time around so maybe it’s best I don’t share my opinion 🫣😂
