I've never given up on a survival half way through, but the mechanics of this show are absolutely infuriating and so incredibly stupid :') If I did, I'd still watch and react to all the bands' performances and maybe I'm just still mad right now, but god damn this episode was easily the worst episode of a survival show I think I've ever seen. So pointless.

I agree with you about the show format being bullshit. I don't like it when shows start toying with people unnecessarily in the name of entertainment. On the other hand I'm grateful to it for introducing me to bands I never would have heard of otherwise. I wasn't expecting to like Surl but I absolutely loved them. I went straight from watching this to checking out more of their songs so for that reason I can't be too harsh on it.

I think at this point, if I were watching alone, I would probably drop it too. Being worried about my faves is stressful enough without getting yanked around by the show. As a result, I honestly don't even remember the performances from this episode... I really hope this was a one off for the first round
