I can’t stop updating scene animations, even though my input is comparably insignificant to my animator’s done job. It's always those 5% that take a lot of extra time, but I can’t call animations ready without completing the remaining 5%.
Right now, I'm finishing the update of the more 'hardcore' scene look. You can see the difference in one of the loops, the old and new versions are attached at the bottom of the post.
<Below are status information and some thoughts>
The fun part is that I argued with pToon-T a lot in the past that he should just stop at some point and skip those last 5% when he draws. But, as always, it's easier said than done. Right now, I'm trying to make this scene feel a little more alive, more hardcore, more depth.
Current scene status:
Extra flash lights are drawn (thank you pToon-T!) and added to animation sets.
Animations (stage #1) are updated to be integrated into unity (events, sounds, controls for extra look).
Animations have their background redrawn (extended), and added to the set.
Animations (stage #2), hardcore look update is in progress right now.
The story is only done as a draft yet. I will get to it after finishing stage#2 animations update.
After that, I would need to code everything in Unity and release my first scene this year. This sentence both makes me sad and happy at the same time :/
