Update about act2 release

you're probably tired of waiting for it. Actually me too.
Below are much of text, so to cut it short - I will be releasing act2 wip version before the end of June (probably just few days before) whatever the state of it will be. Sure I'll fix bugs and do some polishing before release, but I'll call it version zero, because I don't think it will have enough content to be called version one. Right now I do see how to stick one scene into version zero and I'm not sure if I'll be able to attach correctly second scene. Also some moments will be simplified and we hopefully will make them more complicated when we have more content later.
The problem with this first release is that it actually needs to contain 'enough' of content to look like the beginning of the game and not just bunch of locations where you can't do anything. And that is a lot of text to write, dialogues to set up and code to make. Right now we already have around 20 pages of text coded into the game and need to write & code at least another 10-20 according to my estimations, to introduce all characters important to the story.
But as I mentioned, I'm kinda sick of making this game 'for myself' and you probably sick of "this is going to be cool game!" kind of posts from me as well. And I can completely understand that. So I will release it for you guys this month as is, and we'll decide if it is actually might be developed into something better or just piece of shit (hopefully not :D )

Adding old scenes will simply add around 500mb to the game size and many weeks of work. Though I'm not saying we don't get to some ideas how to keep those scenes alive in future

Where you move the most actual graphic relevant scenes over(that match with act2 art style), then maybe others at some point to if you decide to. Instead of having to have old flash style game laying around in other to enjoy the scenes again? Kinda like some RPG maker type games have a viewing room, where you can relive some the scenes you went through in the story.

2020-06-18 13:58:35 +0000 UTCnope, right now we don't plan to do anything with act1. If we ever have enough resources, we might consider to make a rework for it (changing platform, story, in-game graphics, etc). Right now only act2 is in the priority
