35mm I don't think I've ever shared from the past few years visiting Illinois.

This was the first time in a long time I've spent a significant amount of time in the Midwest. We went for about a week and spent I think five days in Chicago. I'm super biased but this is one of the best cities. Everything from art to music to the sights, the walkability of this city, everything. I forget how much I miss this. Don't get me wrong, the Bay is wonderful but between dodging poop on the sidewalks and those mornings where you're walking to your car praying your windows haven't bee...

Update

A little bit of a lot has happended the past few months. First all, I haven't been shooting photos much but did dig into ceramics this semester for a little creative outlet. With the cost of film and rising living expenses (with the stagnant rate of wage) it's becoming alomst unstainable. While I'm sad about that I'm eager to pursue other creative outlets like the ceramics, stamp making, and painting! With school I also have quit and started a handful of new jobs. flowers n bits from awhile ago

I haven't spent money on film in over a month, developing or purchasing. Saved a good bit of money. I think I'm going to chill for a minute shooting, it's crazy how expensive it's gotten and how all of my time has disappeared to school and work. Closer to the holidays I'm going to get almost thirty rolls developed as a little treat to myself. I have thirty as of right now which means I have around 800 photos ready to be seen. Holy crap, just did that math now.

Midwest Winter '23

Shot on my dying Canon Sure Shot 35mm. I'm not quite sure what's wrong with it, I'll take in in eventually but in the meantime I'm going to let it take a break. I've been using this bad boy for about ten years now, who know's how many shots is has on it. It's kinda cool the last few rolls have had weird light spots, I think the motor is slowly dying, not allowing the film to a advance right?

The last week or two. Coming into finals, I switched my majors. From business administration and marketing back to fine art + visual communications. I did just get two more associates so yay! Writing this from bed, I just got off work, I’m a little stoney, and I’m waking up in a few hours to work again. Little update, not much has changed. I’m still going to school, working a few jobs, and am perpetually tired but happy. Here’s some photos of the past few months, all taken from my cell phone from around the Bay.
