This is such a great format, thank you for going in depth about the fabric, why you like the clothes, and your experience with wearing them

binge watching these and brother just stopping his thought midsentence and looking into the distance before changing the subject haha its endearing and I guess proper for the territory of longform but I wanna hear the thought

lol one time i bought bless pants and my mom was like can u get me one and i was like uuuuuuhhhh this was the last one and she probably said something about dying without those pants so i just gave it to her but then she got bored of them after a while and they were actually too big for me so i sold them

Is there a company that is known for making the best swatch books, I’ve been looking into it but can’t find much? It’s a stretch but was hoping at least one would include a bysus sea silk sample but no luck so far. hee hee

Alex

appreciate how much actual wear and life your garments get!

Alex Foxworth

I love the garment review videos! The final home jacket video is one of my favorites

What you said about New York and Los Angeles dying- I have been wondering the same thing as I just graduated design school from LA and have been trying to navigate the landscapes of where to set roots and find like minded people. I have been noticing patterns like Thebe Magugu staying in South Africa Cape Town (where there is a small community that lifts each other up) instead of moving to Paris. And also art/fashion scenes in Seattle. It is like this collective movement to a slower, more artisanal, and community based art scene without the "career driven" "hustle culture" motto of the big cities. Very interesting! Thank you!

Yess I've been looking forward to this. I've been wanting to know more about those black fringe Helmut Lang pants every time you wear them in a video. It's so cool that they aged in such an interesting way. I thought they were designed to be fringe so that blew my mind

Are you certain the story is not merely inspired by true events?
