I don't think they are saying that his break up with Aurora influenced who he is. It was the last straw, yes. But the main issue that Klaus has was his self hatred and low self esteem because of his father. Aurora telling he was nothing made him give up on trying because he saw no point anymore and thus he started to change into a hateful and terrifying creature. He became a legend, a nightmare, someone whose very name sent chills to everyone's hearts. Not because he was a love sick puppy, but because he wanted nothing to do with the weakling his parents raised him to believe he was. The Aurora thing was just the thing that ended up breaking him but he was already broken by then. As far as what was happening in the episode and how he was acting with Aurora, I mean ... we've been watching Klaus for how many years now? He is a master of manipulation, and he knows how to play this game, remember that.

I donβt think they are trying to say that Aurora is the reason Klaus has so many issues. I think it gives shows one of the many reasons Klaus is the way he is and why he has trust issues. I think that Klausβs backstory has so many opportunities for stories, because he doesnβt share much about himself. Elijah mentioned that Klaus said to never mention Aurora again. I hate Aurora too and love Klamille but I definitely see chemistry. I think itβs almost impossible for two hot psycho vampires to not have any chemistry. I think Klaus also does have a soft spot for certain girls. I think he has becomes really vulnerable when it comes to Aurora, Caroline, and Camille.

2018-10-10 03:54:51 +0000 UTCAya is almost the same age as the originals. Rebekah is still stronger than Aya but Aya is a more skilled and trained fighter. The reason why the originals aren't as feared as they were on tvd is because the vampires on the originals are all older and stronger. A lot of the strix are close to 900 years old and most of the vampires in mystic falls aren't much older than 200. You have to remember that Rebekah almost fought off a small army of well trained vampires that are close to her age. Even in tvd, Damon and Stefan staked Elijah in Elijahβs first episode and they are basically vampire toddlers compared to Aya and everyone in the Strix.
