Craig had an interesting idea that at Shadow of the Con we could also do a reading/discussion of an uncollected Wolfe story (I collect uncollected Wolfe stories).
So I’ll post one and we’ll see if we have takers.
I’ve always liked ‘Going To The Beach’ published in 1973 in Roger Elwood’s “Showcase” (introduction by Jack Dann). I’ve never really felt like I understood it though. If you read it and show up, we’ll talk about it.

The Rereading Wolfe Podcast is organizing a Gene Wolfe con within the 2022 Worldcon 80 in Chicago (Chicon 8, get your membership here) .
This page is a work in progress for the events we have planned.
Currently all ShadowCon times are TBD but we tentatively plan to have them on Friday and Saturday. We are currently working to ensure all the proceedings get recorded.

Craig and James try something new: taking on an essay rather than a story. It's a bit dense, but it explains a lot about the world of Tlon. Idealism in that story got rid of actual physical space - so why not annihilate time, too?
