I really enjoy the smaller, more fun episodes in between. It gives us a chance to unwind a little after the big moments and enjoy what the characters have to offer before they build up the big hype train in the next storyline.
2021-12-07 08:46:37 +0000 UTCWhat Black Clover does, is that generally after a high big stakes/serious sequence, is they'll bring it down just a little with a couple of fun and funny episodes to set up matters for the next major arc before things get serious again. This episode is necessary as you'll find out when you hit episode 30 so it's not a filler as it were. Episode 29 is a recap episode but we get it from a different character's pov, Gordon's, so it's actually interesting to watch. This is also just a really funny episode with Noelle.
