Added 2019-10-07 17:11:57 +0000 UTC## Roadmap
### Current development cycle
- Major front-end libs update -> some code refactoring.
- Css refactoring (css-modules and components refactoring)
- Dark theme as result.
- New fonts for Korean and Chinese translation.
### In the next few development cycles
Even more refactoring.
Auctions:
- Expiration time for auctions.
- Optional expiration time for bids.
- Minimal increment for bids.
- Ability to mark riven sell orders as `Sold`.
Moderation UI:
- Reports aggregation ui.
- Audit log.
- Ui-elements for moderators.
Misc:
- Script to automate the update of drop locations, at least relics.
- Auto-responder for chats on the site.
- Ability to edit your own order directly from the search results. (list of orders after the search)
### Soon™
- Give users the access to history of auctions.
- Provide information about min and max stats of riven mods, based on sales history.
- Profile tab with user owned auctions.
- Ability to create groups of orders.
- Simplify the search for "bulk trades" (buying multiple items from one trader in one transaction.)
### At some day
New lfg project, written on golang.
## Thoughts
### Android \\ Ios apps
It was a mistake to spend time and resources developing these applications, it wasn't worth it.
Instead, in our case, I should have focused on PWA.
Because these applications do not solve anything that PWA solves and they have the same problems with notifications and statuses.
What a coincidence, recently I found a good article about PWA: https://ymedialabs.com/progressive-web-apps
Auctions for Android application will be completed, but it is likely that after that the application will stop receiving major updates.
### Auctions
Overall it was not executed very well, and require some improvements.
There is a bunch of problems, like:
- Unrealistic or lazy(1-infinity) price ranges
- Unwillingness to sell mods, due to wrong price expectations (?)
- Inability to determine the duration of the auction by the buyer.
- A lot of forgotten auctions that their owners don't pay attention to.
- Etc.
All of this is multiplied by our inability to force something, we have almost no control over the flow of auction, it’s all on owner conscience.
I think, the core of these issues is lack of information. And this is what we can try to solve, by providing more information and price suggestions.
Like:
- Min and max value of given attribute.
- Min and max price of riven, from official DE api.
- Access to trade history of the site.
And by removing information noise from the search, by hiding inactive \\ forgotten auctions and notifying the owners that their auctions are not interesting to other users in the current terms and should be reviewed.
### A few articles i want to write
But I'm gonna have to find a proofreader \\ translator to do that.
- How WFM handle data-preloading by using react-router in non standard way.
- About WFM backend api architecture and "Flask" modifications.
## Btw, looking for React developer
Part time, self aware, ~mid level.

A 7-10 day timeframe should be ample time to get bids + keep interest active. As for enforcing riven sales, perhaps letting the highest bidder who wins the auction leave a upvote / downvote 48 hours after the auction is won, if the trade happened or not. If someone gets more than 3-5 reports, then other players can see it's not a reliable riven seller. I read the PWA article, especially the part about PWA vs mobile app. I didn't realise, but I've used a PWA (Amazon's pwa recently. Wasn't too impressed, but as the article states, the benefits are evident only on repeat visits). I would still like an app, for it's inbuilt responsiveness. Quite a few players use it as their 2nd screen, while playing warframe (instead of alt tabbing and checking on the computer). Others use the chat /inbox to set up trades for later. (I on the other hand, just grab the 1st online in game person who responds). Either way, I hope if there are enough people who use it, they leave feedback and tell you that. The Moderation UI sounds awesome. Wf.m taking down those inactive / wrong listings / fake "online in game" accounts will make for a cleaner and better trading experience.
