Taking a Break and Embracing Freedom
Added 2023-06-23 21:46:00 +0000 UTC... or how I hit the pause billing button.
"I'm not sure how well that will go down," said Eager Emily. She read through the post again. "Sounds like a title for a French film."
"What do you suggest?" asked Tired Emily.
She thought for a while. "How about... 'My life is on the pause'? Or maybe..." she looked up at Tired Emily, her eyes sparkling "I'm on hold with my life?"
"No, too grandiose. And anyway, I don't want people thinking I've got a big head just because I write about fat girls doing stupid things."
Eager Emily snorted derisively. "You mean *you* haven't got a big head already?"

TL;DR: I decided to take a break from this because I feel burned out.
At first, it was all fun and games but then it turned into a full-time job and I started yearning for the old bursts of spontaneous creativity.
You know, like writing stories on the toilet, ( "I'm not a writer. I just like to take shits."), creating silly graphics scenarios whenever I felt solitude coming my way (" Hmm... how about 'The Vampire's Niece', where a young girl is bitten by her vampiric aunt and then become hugely obese?") and playing with myself when no one was looking.
That kind of stuff...
What hitting pause means according to the FAQ pages:
"We won’t process payments for your existing members when you pause your creator page."
and
"Members will be able to access your page and posts while your billing is paused — your page is live; we’re just not billing your existing paid members for the month"
So far so good.
I also set all the tiers to SOLD OUT and so you've just become part of an elite group that nobody can join. Ha!
I hope this makes sense.
Now, that doesn't mean I won't be posting updates, but I'll do it when I feel the need to do so. And if I feel like to do so a lot then I might restart the billing, but not before that.
I don't want your money, if I'm being a lazy bitch too burned out to make anything new.
