From the Museum guide:
Demeter reigned supreme as the Goddess of Harvest, Fertility and Food. Resplendent in her luscious curves, she was the embodiment of abundance and prosperity.
Her smile could turn the most barren of lands into fertile paradises, overflowing with plump fruits and succulent grains.
Demeter's touch would make rivers run thick with liquid gold, nourishing the world with her generosity. In this bountiful realm, the people would hold grand feasts in her honor, lavishing her with offerings of buttery pastries, rich cheeses, and the finest marbled meats.
Her temples were adorned with sculptures carved from the purest of marble, each statue a testament to her divine influence. And as the people reveled in their prosperity, they too grew to embrace the beauty of their own ample forms, for Demeter taught them that in fat, there was life, and in life, there was joy.
It has been said that Demeter held a special power to mentor young girls, guiding them on a journey to embrace their bodies' full potential. Her teachings were revered, and many young women would flock to her sacred temples in pursuit of her wisdom.
The goddess's lessons focused on indulgence, empowering these young souls to find strength and beauty in their own growing curvaceous forms. Demeter encouraged them to over-nourish their bodies with her blessings, finding pleasure in the delicious bounty she provided. Under her tutelage, these girls grew into voluptuous, radiant women, spreading the message of the Goddess throughout the land.
And with each new generation, the girls grew bigger in body and love, enjoying the unsurpassed delight that could only be experienced in Demeter's divine embrace.
