New poll! "Old Town Road" vs. "A Bar Song (Tipsy)"

If there's one thing the current generation of music listeners are a fan of, it's mashups of country and hip-hop that spend eons at #1. So now we must choose which of these songs is the superior endlessly-at-#1 tracks that mix cowboy music with rap, is it Lil Nas X's "Old Town Road" or Shaboozey's "A Bar Song (Tipsy)"

My knees ache too much for this poll.

Appreciate old town road, but ratio is off. We talking music or discourse. Y’all thinking OTR make you feel better or Tipsy? Ain’t on impact, what makes me feel good on a Friday?

I'm at a (Indian) wedding, and they played a bhangra remix of Old Town Road during the bharaat. No notes. (For reference: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baraat ).

No shade to Old Town Road, but A Bar Song has, like, actual real drums? And a fiddle? And as good as bedroom pop can be, I sure do miss real instruments sometimes.

old town road manages to make me not hate billy ray cyrus for 2 minutes and 37 seconds. i hate him again afterwards, but that's still something!

i listened to Tipsy for the first time for this poll, and aven though i quite like Old Town Road, i feel the nonchalant mood both songs share goes way better with Tipsy

Save a horse, vote for Tipsy

My thoughts on this matchup are far more nuanced than a measly patreon comment can contain, but the reductive gist is that Old Town Road has always felt to me like a joke that ended up with more of a social weight than it could handle, while A Bar Song washes any previous attempt at fusing country and hip hop by clearly being made out of equal adoration for both genres.
